I love Yuumei's art and I saw her 3D Tutorial about using SketchUp to create backgrounds and stuff (here: [link]) and I had to try it out 
The 3D model part is the castle (searched Japanese Castle) and the background mountains are by me...it's so easy to tell @___@ Wish I did better with the mountains V.V''''
It was very fun and I learned new techniques so yay ^_^ Will definitely be using SketchUp more to generate backgrounds. (I actually used the program a lot in my interior design classes to make buildings and render and stuff but it never occurred to me I can bring it into my art XD)
Programs: Google SketchUp, Photoshop CS4, Paint Tool SAI

That's really cool! I've always wanted to use Sketchup but I'm horrible at using it lol. And don't worry, practice makes perfect, even if we threaten to kill ourselves multiple times over it x]
